Espirito Brum is the UK edition of Espirito Mundo, a cross cultural celebration bringing together musicians and artists from Brazil and the Midlands in a three day festival held in Digbeth.
This is the UK part of the project that saw me get some work in a show over in Brazil, I’m going to painting various things as part of the festival along side Renato who I’ve posted links to before and Curs and Offset, don’t think I’ve seen their stuff before. Should be cool anyway.
This is the first time this world touring festival has come to the UK and it’s going to be in Birmingham, so thats a good look.
Shouts to Tessa and Soesen
After the drippy half face weird portrait on Friday, on Saturday I went on to do my favourite piece of the year and earn the nickname THE MACHINE if even for just a day..
Big up Goonism and the crowd at the music cafe, shouts to N4t4, Philth, Cost, Deys and Straid.
Wicked day, sun shining, nice street spot opposite a cool bar with wicked tunes all day.

Me and Agent took part in a squat show in Stirchley on Friday. Great to meet nice people, Harry is a legend, all the residents were cool and all the artists I met, hello. It came together within a day really with all the walls filling up just before the doors open. There were a lot of people for the opening too and a mad diverse crowd. Here’s a longer write up including decent photos, you might recognise the handstyle on his website banner! Cheeky.
Anyway an art piece from me, not done one in a while even on canvas so this was a lot of fun having a break from doing crisp lines and cut backs.

Finally sorted a joiner for this recent wall. Best wall in Digbeth I reckon. Got the nod for this one over a year ago, but intercrew organization and other spanners in the works almost meant it didn’t happen. Power of persuasion.
