Pamela from the Digbeth Residents Association made a public ‘thank you’ for the Welcome To Digbeth Bab wall in the Birmingham mail yesterday. Thank you Pam!
It didn’t take all summer as the paper suggests, it took one day.. I’m sure they read the email Pamela sent in and thought, nahh, one day!? must be wrong, lets say that it took all summer.
Also check the story about Cotteridge Calendar, Might have some work in there too, haven’t checked yet though.

The sad wall enthusiasts we are on sunday 4 of us primed the whole of the custard wall.Those that know it know its a pain to paint and has always looked scrappy even with our best attempts to clean it up. Big thanks to the man with the genius plan and the clever bit of kit! Expect to see a fresh production soon..

Wicked project from this weekend, 8 foot high, 175 foot long. Me and Agent painted this with 60 young volunteers from The-Challenge.org. It’s opposite Digbeth Coach station so a LOT of people will see this on their way into Brum.

I’ve not done much of my own stuff recently so heres a commission.. The school ran a competition with the kids to come up with a design, then i used elements from each winning design to come up with this..

The culture show did a bit on Digbeth the other night. It was saying how Birmingham didn’t deserve the title Europes most boring city, but they kind of took the piss in the same breath. Still it was all true..
Anyway they interviewed a few of the art crowd and kesh, NFA, Asone, Reas and and a few others got some stuff shown on the telly… its on Iplayer ’til friday
